Spring Product Favourites

Spring is coming, albeit slowly, but close enough to start on changing up the beauty routine for the new season!

At the moment, I am all for glowy, blushing skin.  So, I decided to try some new products.
I have seen so many good reviews for Glossier make-up, so I thought I would treat myself and try out their Cloud Paint liquid blushes.  I ordered two shades; Dusk and Beam.
Dusk is a darker, slightly brown toned blush, which is great for creating a subtle contour under your cheekbones, or just using across your cheeks to add a bit of warmth to your skin.

Beam is a light pink colour which is really good for creating fresh looking skin! Generally, for my current everyday routine I apply concealer under my eyes, on my forehead, around my nose & chin, apply powder foundation and then apply Beam across my cheeks with my fingertips. I then highlight my face by applying Benefit High Beam to the tops of my cheek bones and brow bones for a natural dewy/glowy skin look.

The beauty of these blushes is that a little product really goes a long way.  They blend perfectly onto a powder base too!  They also have a slight shimmer to them so your skin looks beautifully glowy when light hits your face- so I'm sure I will be using these all through the summer too!

The products themselves are a little pricey at £15 per tube, however, if you consider that a little product really goes a long way, [plus the great quality] it is worth it.

Also, Glossier have a 'Duo Set' which saves you £5 if you buy two... so £25 for two Cloud Paints isn't bad at all!

Another new product I have picked up recently is matte lipstick from The Body Shop.  I picked up two shades; Sienna Rose and New Orleans Scarlett.  These lipsticks are absolutely beautiful!
They're matte, but not overly drying, and last a long time!  It would be very hard to smudge once it has dried back after applying.

Sienna Rose is a beautiful pinky-nude shade which I love for an everyday look, as it is very close to my natural lip colour, but gives my everyday makeup look the finish it needs.

The New Orleans Scarlett shade is a bright orangey-shade of red, which I love; it’s bright and not a hugely deep/heavy red lip, so you can get away with wearing it with your day time makeup without it massively standing out.

These lipsticks are incredibly good value, at £8.00 each!  They also smell amazing!  I love The Body Shop products for their cruelty free ideology and natural products, their skincare products are amazing too!

I know that I am going to be using these products all throughout the spring and summer, as they are perfect for all looks and are very easy to use.  I cannot recommend both of these products enough, through their quality and price.

If you're interested in purchasing any of these products, I have left the website links below for you to browse.  Enjoy!
